Educational Qualification for FACT Vacancy:
Trade Apprentice:
- National Trade Certificate in Fitter, Machinist, Electrician, Plumber, Mechanic Motor Vehicle, Carpenter, Mechanic (Diesel), Instrument Mechanic, Welder (Gas & Electric), Painter, COPA / Front Office Assistant.
- 60% marks in the relevant ITI / ITC Trade (NCVT approved); 50% marks for SC/ST.
- Applicants domiciled in Kerala will be considered
Period of Training: One year
Upper Age Limit (As on 01 April 2024): Age not more than 23 years
- For General candidates with date of birth on or after 02.04.2001
- For OBC candidates with date of birth on or after 02.04.1998
- For SC/ST candidates with date of birth on or after 02.04.1996
Age relaxation: Age relaxation for SC, ST, OBC and PwBD candidates is allowed as per rules (PwBD will only be considered for selection to COPA Apprenticeship only.)

Selection Process for FACT Careers:
- The merit list for selection will be prepared based on marks obtained in Qualifying Examination and SSLC/Equivalent Examination. 50% weightage will be given for marks obtained in qualifying exam and 50% marks of SSLC/Equivalent.
- In case of tie, marks of the immediately preceding qualifying examination will be considered.
- In the case of further ties, priority will be given for marks obtained in the order of Maths, Physics & Chemistry in 10th standard examination.
- In case of further tie seniority in age will be considered.
- The Merit List of the eligible candidates will be published in the website and the candidates will be informed through their e-mail.

Helper:
- VII Standard with good physique
- Only male candidates are eligible to apply.
Duration: The engagement will be for a term of two years, renewable for a maximum period of 2 spells of one year each, at the discretion of the Management, subject to requirement, performance, assessment etc. Engagement is also liable to be terminated by the Management with 15 days’ notice, at its discretion without assigning any reason

Salary for FACT Careers: Candidates offered engagement as above will be paid a consolidated pay of Rs. 22,000/- (Rupees Twenty Two Thousand Only) per month and an increase of 3% on successful completion of each year. Leave, ESI, Provident Fund, TA & DA for duty travel will be applicable based on eligibility, as per Rules of the Company.

Selection Process for FACT Careers:
- The selection process includes an Interview
- The eligibility of candidates will be determined based on information furnished in the application and the documents they have submitted. At all stages of the selection process, candidature will be provisional.
- After preliminary scrutiny of documents submitted along with the application, candidates will be ranked based on the following criteria in the order given below:
- Candidates with earlier date of birth as stated in the Birth Certificate
- If there is more than one candidate with same date of birth, the merit order will be determined based on the alphabetical order of their name as appearing in the Birth Certificate. For this purpose, initials which form part of the candidate’s name, will be suffixed to the remaining part of the name in the Birth Certificate, irrespective of where the initials appear in the Birth Certificate.
- Management reserves the right to (i) shortlist candidates by adopting such methods or criteria found suitable at the discretion of the Management and (ii) modify the mode of selection etc. The decision of the Company about the mode of selection, requirements, eligibility criteria, shortlisting of candidates etc. shall be final and binding.
- Individual communications to the candidates will be only through the e-mail id used for submitting the Online Form. Therefore, candidates shall keep the said e-mail id, valid and functional at all times.
